As a woman who struggles with anxiety + overwhelm, you’re at high risk of relapse.

Women are nearly twice as likely to experience anxiety disorders, with up to 80% of women in substance use treatment having a history of trauma. This is a major factor in ongoing anxiety and emotional distress during recovery.

Unfortunately, these struggles often remain untreated, leading to emotional instability and a higher risk of relapse. Proper support is essential for managing these underlying issues and improving recovery outcomes.

I’VE BEEN THERE.

I’m Kristin — founder of Calm Clean Connected and creator of The CCCollective, a space for women in recovery who are ready to do the deeper work.

After having my son in 2019, I experienced postpartum panic attacks and crippling anxiety.

I had spent years prior focused on getting my body healthy despite autoimmune thyroid disease, and suddenly, it felt like I was starting over from scratch.

Before I finally reached out for help, I coped from a place of survival mode — burying my unmet needs with prescription medication, nightly wine binges, people-pleasing, and chasing what I thought God expected of me: to work hard, serve others, and stay positive no matter what.

I showed up, but I was lost — buried under the weight of things too heavy to carry on my own.

That’s why I created Calm Clean Connected: to give women the tools, support, and space I wish I’d had sooner — so you can find the path forward that actually fits your life, your healing, and your purpose.

I realized I needed a new strategy if I wanted to win this battle...there was more to the story of my anxiety.

I NEEDED THE RIGHT TOOLS.

I spent too long living in survival mode, disconnected from my true purpose and identity.

It was a cycle of unhealthy coping, building resentment, and spiraling deeper into desperation and depression.

I blamed my circumstances, instead of searching for the solutions I needed.

At some point, I had a choice: stay stuck or completely dismantle everything and rebuild — even if that meant letting go of what others might think of me.

So, that’s exactly what I did. I’d already learned the hard way with my battle with autoimmune disease that I had to chart my own course if I wanted to heal, and I applied that same fierce determination to my recovery.

Within a year, I had reclaimed my health and my confidence. No more relying on anxiety meds, no more alcohol to cope, and no more living in a haze of stress and overwhelm.

Here’s the truth: Recovery isn’t just about freedom from substances. It’s about finding your way back to the life you were always meant to live — and reclaiming the identity you were given when you were made in the image of God.

This is the path I walk, and it’s exactly what I teach inside The CCCollective

If you’re ready to trade in your old story for a new one, I would love for you to join me.
